Introduction

Welcome to HeathGaa.ie - the official home of the Heath GAA website.

We are located in County Laois in the centre of Ireland. The club was established in 1888, and we have a long and proud tradition of competing at the top level of Laois G.A.A. This year, we will be taking part in both the Senior and Intermediate championships - an achievement we are very proud of, which speaks volumes for the players and management teams involved. We also have a very active underage football setup, with teams from Under 10 right through to Under 21's, as well as the three senior teams.

Last Man Standing Competition!

English Premier LeagueWelcome to the Heath GAA's Premier League Last Man Standing Competition! Rules are as follows:

  • Beginning Saturday 26th November, you pick a team to win their respective game that weekend
  • If your team wins, you're still in the game! If they lose or draw, you're out!
  • If you win and you're still in the game, you cannot pick your previously selected team in subsequent weekends.
  • Each entry must be in by 11am of every Saturday
  • Entry is €10, all entries must be paid up by 26th November
  • In gameweeks where your team has two matches, it's the first match only that counts
  • If there are 3 or more games called off in a match-week round due to bad weather, then everyone gets a by to the following week. If there are only 1 or 2 games called off - unlucky for you if you had picked those teams - you're out!
  • You can enter at Treacy's bar, or by texting your name and team for the weekend to:
    • Niall Treacy 087 7420269
    • Donal Bigley 087 1370333

30% of entry fees collected goes to the competition winner, the rest to the Heath GAA.

Results from each week will be posted up here, including all names and their selections, and who gets through to the next round.

Game on!
